Mentoring for men: a calm space to talk
Many men carry pressure alone. Work, family, money, health, old experiences that were never really talked about: it builds quietly, and the habit of coping in silence can feel safer than saying anything at all. Just Come and Bee was shaped with exactly this in mind.
This is not group therapy and it is not a lecture. It is a private, steady, one-to-one conversation with someone who understands how heavy the quiet carrying can get. No judgement, no labels, no pressure to be anything other than honest at your own pace.
Sessions are online, so there is no waiting room and no one to bump into. Men join from Harrow, Watford, Uxbridge and towns across the UK, often after months or years of telling themselves they were fine.
What men often bring to these sessions
- Struggling in silence, or feeling unsure how much longer you can cope
- Anger, shutdown or big reactions that arrive faster than you can catch them
- Stress at home or work that never quite switches off
- Feeling flat, worn down or disconnected from the people around you
- Wanting to be steadier for your partner, your children or yourself

How it works
We start with a free 20-minute consultation: a relaxed, honest chat about what is going on and what support could look like. If it feels right, we agree a rhythm of 60-minute online sessions focused on self regulation, understanding your triggers, and building practical tools that work in real life.
The approach is trauma informed and non-medical. That means the work centres on safety, consistency and practical progress rather than diagnosis or treatment. Nothing you share goes anywhere else, and nothing is ever forced.
If you are in crisis right now, mentoring is not the right first step: call Samaritans free on 116 123, or 999 in an emergency. For everything that is heavy but not urgent, this is a place to start.
Common questions
I have never talked about any of this. Where would I even start?
That is exactly what the free consultation is for. You do not need prepared words or a clear story. Plenty of men start with "I am not sure why I am here" and that is a perfectly good beginning.
Is this counselling?
No. This is non-medical mentoring: practical wellbeing support built around understanding your responses and finding what helps you stay steady. If counselling or therapy would serve you better, we will say so.
Will anyone know I am doing this?
Sessions are private and online. You choose where you take them and who, if anyone, you tell.
