Support for parents of neurodiverse children

Raising a neurodiverse child asks more of you than most people ever see. The love is enormous, and so is the load: decoding behaviour, absorbing meltdowns, fighting for the right support at school, and holding everyone else together while your own tank runs empty.

This support is for you, the parent. Not another programme for your child, but a steady space where you can breathe out, make sense of what is happening at home, and build calm, consistent routines that protect your wellbeing while supporting your child's needs.

Sessions are one-to-one and online, so they fit around school runs and bedtimes. Families join from Hillingdon, Harrow, Watford and towns across the UK.

A parent and child moment of calm connection

What we work on together

  • Understanding what your child's behaviour is communicating
  • Spotting triggers earlier, for your child and for yourself
  • Calm routines that lower the temperature of difficult moments
  • Preventing your own burnout while caring for everyone else
  • Boundaries, guilt and the pressure to be endlessly patient

Support that meets you where you are

The approach is trauma informed, person centred and non-medical. It does not diagnose your child, replace specialist services or add another set of targets to your week. It gives you practical understanding and tools, plus somewhere to be honest about how hard it can get, without judgement and without having to perform being fine.

One more thing, because it needs saying: finding this hard does not mean you are failing. It means you are a human being doing a demanding job with very little backup. Asking for support for yourself is not selfish. It is one of the most practical things you can do for your child.

It starts with a free 20-minute consultation. Tell us a little about your situation, with no pressure to share more than feels right, and we will work out together whether this support fits your family.

Common questions

Do you work with my child directly?

The focus of this service is you. Supporting the parent changes the whole household's weather. Where one-to-one mentoring for a young person is appropriate, that can be discussed in your consultation.

My child has no formal diagnosis. Does that matter?

Not at all. This is non-medical support and no diagnosis is required. If life at home feels overwhelming, that is reason enough to talk.

When do sessions happen?

Online, at times agreed around your family's reality. Each session is 60 minutes, and the pace is set by you.
